For each visitor to web sites owned by HRD Press, our Web server automatically recognizes the visitor's domain name and email address (where possible). We do not collect all of that data, but it is recognized. We collect only the domain name, but not the email address of visitors to our web site. We also track aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit and user-specific information on what pages visitors access or visit.
We use cookies to aid in tracking. When someone visits an HRD Press web site, a cookie is placed on the customer's machine (if the customer accepts cookies) or a cookie is read if the customer has visited the site previously.

We collect information customers or others give us - the names and email addresses of those who take our online assessments, the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, survey information and/or site registrations and the email addresses of people requesting our autoresponders.

Personal information collected is often limited to email addresses, but may include other information when needed to provide a service you requested. For example, if you choose a service or transaction that requires payment, such as making an online purchase on our website, we will request personal information necessary for billing and/or shipping, such as: name, address, telephone number, and credit card number.

We do not collect or track the email addresses of those who are asked to be observers of those completing an online assessment. Email addresses are not sold or traded, now or in the future for any reason.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web site, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site and used by us to contact visitors for marketing purposes.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including but not limited to, packaging, mailing, answering customer questions about products or services, and processing event registration. We will only provide these venders what they need to deliver the service we have contracted them for, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of and its family of Web sites, or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of services, or members of the public.

We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities.

If you do not want to receive email from us in the future, please let us know by sending email to us at the above address, or calling us at the above telephone number, or writing to us at the above address and telling us that you do not want to receive email from our company.
